1950s Mohair Skirt, Size XXS, XS

When I went to this estate to view the clothing, this gorgeous skirt had a note pinned on it that said "Doug gave me this skirt and a Dalkeith sweater for our first anniversary" - so sweet, and she stored it in a box in the cedar chest.  It is in lovely condition but is quite tiny.  The fabric inside is not itchy and the back is lined 1/2 way to avoid the fabric stitching out from sitting.  This era of skirt is meant to be worn high on the waist and close to the body. No label that I can see. The navy and caramel colours are so classic and colours that are on trend now so it's just a treasure.
