Large Black Cameo Necklace in Filigree Setting, Black Glass Cameo Necklace, Vintage Black Cameo Necklace

Romantic, victorian style black glass cameo set in a silver filigree mount with matching chain. I love that it is a little gothic and mysterious looking. The gentlemen that I purchased it from said it belonged to his wife's mother and I think it is from the 1960s or before and most likely from Germany or Czechoslovakia. The chain and setting are not sterling silver but very intricate and dimensional. The cameo itself is 7/8" x 1 5/8" and the setting is about 1.5" x 1.25". The mounted piece is 3/8" thick. Chain is 22.5" and the clasp is a circle spring. The cameo is in very good condition. The setting has some wear to the high points of the claws and the chain shows wear at the back of the neck. Overall, it is gorgeous and in wonderful condition for its age.
